I got into some legal trouble...

Well, I got into some legal trouble.  InterNACHI® got tired of having its members deal with outside insurance companies that settle quickly and raise your premiums, so we formed our own in-house insurance company. Insurance companies are regulated at the state level, and each state is different. Furthermore, each state has mounds of regulations that govern insurance companies like ours.

I didn't realize it, but I'm not actually allowed to guarantee that we have the best deals on insurance for home inspectors. And so, being the law-abiding citizen that I am, I want to make this perfectly clear:

I am not allowed to guarantee that I can save you money. I'm sorry, but I'm simply not allowed to say that I can guarantee that our insurance company is a better deal.  That's the way it is, folks – I will no longer be able to say that I guarantee I can save you money. Even though I theoretically could guarantee to save you money, I am not allowed to say that I guarantee it.

I can guarantee that you are paying more for a weaker insurance product elsewhere, but I'm probably not allowed to say that either. So, from now until the day I die, I will no longer say that I guarantee that InterNACHI's insurance company is the best and charges the least. I'm so sorry that I'm no longer allowed to say that I guarantee it.
