InterNACHI member Mark Nahrgang conducted training for a full house of Missouri REALTORs this past August (2009).  In an event that was coordinated by The Alliance of Missouri Home Inspectors (TAMHI), InterNACHI member James Braun, and the Missouri Association of REALTORs, professionals from across the state came to hear Mark speak on radon testing and other subjects of interest.  The members of the Missouri Association of REALTORs in attendance were provided CEUs while being trained by a Missouri home inspector at an event sponsored by Missouri home inspectors.

According to event coordinator James Braun, “The Alliance of Missouri Home Inspectors is committed to [demonstrating] to the public the benefit toMissouri REALTORs them for home inspectors to work with…and not work for the state REALTOR association, as our neighbors in Kansas have recently been forced to do.  We serve the same client…but in different ways.  We are asking Missouri real estate professionals to educate their state association and help us avoid the conflict of interest created when state REALTOR associations control home inspectors.”
