Georgia is one of the few states that does not require licensing or certification for its home inspectors. The Southeast region of the Peach State (Valdosta area) has had unprecedented growth in its housing industry in recent years.     This chapter will strive to maintain professional and consistent standards for the building inspection industry licensed in the South Georgia area, Also, since there are no organized local home inspector groups established in Southeast Georgia, we hope to provide a good meeting place for home inspectors to join together. This chapter is proposed to form January 1st, 2024, and more details may be provided after establishment begins.
