Central Iowa

The Central Iowa Chapter of InterNACHI®, the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors, is dedicated to providing a valuable resource for home inspectors and those interested in the real estate industry in the Central Iowa region. Our goal is to foster excellence, provide learning opportunities, and facilitate networking among professionals.

Quarterly meetings are typically held to cover a variety of topics relevant to running a successful home inspection business. These topics include marketing, brand development, social media, the local real estate market, HVAC, electrical systems, structural components, roofing, radon, mold, plumbing, drone usage, safety protocols, and more. We also invite vendors and guest speakers to provide additional insights and training.

All InterNACHI® members are eligible to receive Continuing Education (CE) credit for attending our quarterly meetings, helping you meet InterNACHI's requirement of completing 24 CE hours annually. The CE hours will be determined by the length of the meeting and content covered.

While chapter membership is open to all InterNACHI® home inspectors, our meetings welcome anyone interested in the real estate industry. Property inspectors, realtors, contractors, and prospective inspectors can all benefit from the information shared. There are currently no dues required to join the chapter.

We expect all attendees to conduct themselves professionally, courteously, and respectfully during meetings. Please silence cell phones during presentations, and step away if you need to take a call.

Be sure to check the "Chapter Events" link for details on specific quarterly meeting topics and schedules. We also occasionally host special events, such as inter-chapter Zoom meetings with other InterNACHI® chapters around the world. These events will be announced in advance on the chapter page.
