The InterNACHI Global Inspector Education & Exchange Chapter connects inspectors and chapters around the world through real professional exchange.
Our goal is not only to communicate online.
We want inspectors to visit each other, meet in person, see how buildings are constructed and inspected in different countries, and learn directly from those differences.
If you are interested in the building culture of another country, this chapter can help create that connection.
You may visit another chapter and ask:
“Can you show us how buildings are built and inspected in your region?”
Or you may welcome visiting inspectors and say:
“Come to our country. We will show you how we build, inspect, and solve problems here.”
Through these exchanges, inspectors can compare construction methods, materials, climate conditions, inspection practices, reporting styles, and professional culture.
The goal is simple:
Meet. Observe. Compare. Learn. Improve.
This chapter encourages:
Online meetings can start the relationship.
But when possible, we want those relationships to continue in the field, face-to-face.
Every country builds differently.
Climate, materials, construction traditions, codes, inspection practices, and client expectations all shape the way inspectors work.
Seeing those differences in person can teach us things that photographs, videos, and online meetings cannot.
A visiting inspector may notice something local inspectors take for granted.
A local inspector may explain why a building detail developed in response to climate, culture, or construction practice.
That exchange creates better inspectors on both sides.
If your chapter wants to visit another country, meet local inspectors, or learn about another building culture, this chapter can help make the connection.
If you are willing to welcome visiting inspectors, guide them through your local construction environment, or introduce them to your chapter, we want to hear from you.
The idea is simple.
When inspectors travel, they should have fellow InterNACHI members to meet.
If you want to see how inspectors work beyond your own market, welcome visiting inspectors to your region, or build relationships with chapters around the world, join us.
Bring your experience.
Bring your curiosity.
And when the opportunity comes, meet in person.
