Goal: 

The goal of this course is to teach the inspector some best practices of installing flashing around a masonry chimney.

Objective:  

Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to: (a) inspect the components of the flashing installed at a masonry chimney stack; (b) identify and describe each component of the masonry chimney flashing; and (c) describe to clients the flashing areas where potential defects related to improper installation may be observed during an inspection.
