Become a Home Inspector Training at InterNACHI’s Florida House of Horrors® (Past Event)

This 5-day training is for anyone new in the home inspection business or an experienced inspector looking to enhance their skills. You will be guided through the House of Horrors®, an entire house with over 1,000 defects, by Certified Master Inspectors. This hands-on training will help prepare you for your home inspection certification. 

At the completion of the training, you will:
  • have experienced inspecting the House of Horrors®, an entire house with 1,000 defects built under our roof
  • have obtained 40 hours of training towards your 120 hours of required licensing
  • be networking with other inspectors
  • have the opportunity to test-drive home inspection tools;
  • and be given the chance to win special prizes. 




To become a licensed home inspector in Florida, the state requires an individual to complete:
a state-approved, 120-hour course;
a proctored state-approved exam; and
the Florida DBPR (Department of Business and Professional Regulation) application



DBPR may have other requirements regarding insurance, fingerprints, fees and more.
