Crawl Space Foundation Type
A crawl space is an area that is not a full basement and located between the ground and the bottom of the first floor of a home. A crawl space is also referred to as an underfloor space that is not a basement. The story of a house that is entirely above the grade or ground surface is usually referred to as the main first floor.
