 InterNACHI® Founder Nick Gromicko Acquires Minority Ownership in PRO-LAB®

Boulder, CO and Weston, FL (May 25, 2025) -- InterNACHI® and PRO-LAB® are pleased to announce that InterNACHI Founder Nick Gromicko has acquired a minority ownership position in PRO-LAB®.  The purchase is part of a long-term strategic initiative focused on expanding recurring revenue services, technology integration, environmental data, AI-powered report generation, and advanced professional training for the inspection industry.

Founded in 1998, PRO-LAB® is North America's most recognized environmental testing and laboratory analysis company.  It has products and services distributed through major national retailers including Home Depot, Lowe’s, Menards, Ace Hardware, Walmart, Amazon and numerous other channels throughout the United States and Canada. In addition to consumer testing products, PRO-LAB® provides laboratory analysis services, environmental sampling equipment, tools, and support to thousands of inspectors nationwide. 

PRO-LAB® has also emerged as a recognized leader in inspector education and hands-on field training. The company’s Florida headquarters is home to the renowned InterNACHI® House of Horrors® II, a state-of-the-art, hands-on training facility containing an actual home constructed inside the PRO-LAB® headquarters.  The full-sized home has thousands of hidden defects specifically embedded during its construction to provide inspectors with real-world experience beyond the traditional classroom.
