  • Board Chair of the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors (InterNACHI®): Nick is the founder of InterNACHI®, the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors, based in Boulder, Colorado. InterNACHI® is the world’s largest association of property inspectors — with one of the largest websites on the Internet at www.nachi.org — offering education, training, benefits and support to its members to help them succeed in the home inspection industry.  
  • Executive Director of the Master Inspector Certification Board®: Nick also serves as executive director of the Master Inspector Certification Board, which awards qualified property inspectors the title of Certified Master Inspector®, the industry’s highest professional designation.
  • Founder of the Certified Commercial Property Inspectors Association (CCPIA®): In 2018, Nick founded CCPIA — the Certified Commercial Property Inspectors Association — the first nationwide association that provides resources specifically for commercial property inspectors, and promotes the use of the International Standards of Practice for Inspecting Commercial Properties (ComSOP), which Nick co-wrote. 
  • Executive Director of SUNachi: He is also the founder and president of SUNachi, the InterNACHI® Chapter for home inspectors in Florida.
  • Board Chair of the InterNACHI® School: InterNACHI® School is accredited as a postsecondary school by a national accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education (USDE) to provide tuition-free online training, examination, certification, and continuing education to InterNACHI® members. InterNACHI® School is also a Member College of the National Association of Career Colleges (NACC) of Canada, a national association representing more than 500 regulated career colleges across Canada.
  • Founder International Association of Certified Indoor Air Consultants (IAC2®): The International Association of Certified Indoor Air Consultants (IAC2®) is the certifying body for residential and commercial indoor air consultants in North America. IAC2 is a non-profit membership trade organization headquartered in Boulder, Colorado.
  • Excecutive Director of the International Association of Professional Contractors: The International Assoiation of Professional Contractors (Contractors Association) is a non-profit organization.

  • Partner in Checkmate Marketing: Nick is the majority owner of Checkmate Marketing®, an agency that solely specializes in generating practice-specific leads for law firms.  In 2024 Nick sold 49% of his company to Dentons, his largest client, for $35 million dollars.
  • Chief Operating Officer of Massk® International: Nick is the C.O.O. of his wife’s cosmetic company, Massk® International.  Massk® is a top-of-the-line cosmetics company specializing in products that make the butt look more beautiful.  Massk’s® products are organic, cruelty free, and sold, directly to consumers through online stores and distributors. Massk® is also a wholesale supplier to beauty salons, day spas, bikini shops and lingerie boutiques.  
  • Manager of Lenick Organic Farms: Nick is the manager of Lenick Organic Farms. The farm's mission is to enhance beauty naturally by growing organic ingredients at our Northern Colorado location. Lenick Organic Farms has become known for supplying fresh, pure ingredients to the cosmetic industry. 
  • General Contractor: Nick Gromicko General Contractor specializes in high-end outbuildings and projects that require heavy equipment.  He is a Weld County, Colorado-licensed septic system installer, a Florida state-licensed mold assessor, and President of the Contractors Association.

PROFESSIONAL ACCOMPLISHMENTS

  • Created Inspectacles™ inspection glasses: In 2026, Nick created Inspectacles™, AI-powered inspection glasses that are integrated into InterNACHI's BNX reporting software.  Inspectacles™ assist inspectors while they are performing inspections.
  • Won a landmark legal case: In 2022, Nick won a seven-year legal battle to protect inspectors' right to use infrared cameras.
  • Created the "We'll Buy Your Home Back" Guarantee: In 2015, Nick launched the "We'll Buy Your Home Back" Guarantee, which has helped dozens of consumers unwind their purchase of homes that had defects.
  • Created and constructed The House of Horrors®: In 2016, Nick fulfilled his decade-long goal of creating the ultimate education tool when he opened the House of Horrors® — the only training facility of its kind — at InterNACHI® Headquarters in Boulder. The House of Horrors® is a full-size house with a thousand defects purposely built in. This unique structure permits hands-on, accredited training for new and veteran inspectors, held for one week every month, as well live tours and events for real estate professionals and others interested in the home inspection process. The following year, a second House of Horrors® was opened in Weston, Florida.  
  • Created BizVelop: In 2017, Nick launched BizVelop.com, a free online resource for home inspectors needing help with gauging where their business is now in order to take it to the next level.  He revamped it on a new platform in 2026.
  • Launched Elite RE Insurance: In 2020, Nick launched an in-house insurance company for InterNACHI® members.
  • Created the Credit Score Booster: In 2025, Nick created the free, online Credit Score Booster.
  • Created the Inspection Business Valuator: In 2025, Nick created the free, online Inspection Business Valuator.

PHILANTHROPY 

  • Founder of Cozy Coats for Kids: As part of his philanthropic efforts, Nick founded Cozy Coats for Kids®, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Cozy Coats for Kids® purchases brand-new winter coats that children have picked out for themselves, with the intention of bolstering their confidence and wellness. The program raises money through donations from professionals in the inspection industry and related sectors throughout the United States and Canada.  Cozy Coats for Kids® has zero operating expenses and salaries listed on its 990 tax returns because Nick personally pays for all the organization's expenses each year.  In 2023, Nick Gromicko donated an additional $100,000.00 to Cozy Coats for Kids®, fulfilling his lifetime of goal of donating one million dollars to charity.  And in 2025, he donated another 100,000.00.
  • Started the Inspection Museum: In 2018 Nick launched the Inspection Museum and is its curator.
