Four Mock Inspection Reports

Step #1:

  • Perform four mock -- or simulated -- home inspections. A mock inspection is performed for no fee and according to InterNACHI's Home Inspection Standards of Practice. The inspection could be performed on your own home, a friend's home, another inspector's home, etc.

Step #2:

 The checklist is quick and easy. Inspection pictures are not required.
The form will notify you via email if your submission has been received.

Troubleshooting Note:

If you are having issues with the Inspection Report Checklist, please try the following:
  1. Save the checklist every few pages, as it is rather long and this will allow you to resume from where you left off.
  2. Clear your browser's cache and cookies and try again from the beginning of the checklist.
  3. Complete the checklist using Chrome's Incognito Mode or try using a different browser such as Firefox.
  4. If the issues continue, please contact InterNACHI's tech support at

InterNACHI's Report Review Committee will:

  • quickly review the mock inspection reports;
  • check them for substantial adherence to the Home Inspection Standards of Practice; and
  • make suggestions for improvements, if deemed necessary.
