Free & Online Continuing Education for Florida Home Inspectors
Reminder: Your FL Home Inspector License needs to be renewed every two years before July 31st. The last deadline was July 31st, 2018. The next deadline will be July 31st, 2020. To renew your license, complete our free, online Continuing Education courses below.
According to the DBPR Rule as of October 22, 2013, Florida-licensed home inspectors are required to complete at least fourteen (14) hours of Continuing Education credits prior to their expiration of their license. Twelve (12) hours must be based on the components of a home ("General"), and two (2) hours must be based on hurricane wind mitigation ("Hurricane").
InterNACHI's How to Perform Wind Mitigation Inspections Course, #0000059, is approved for 16 hours (14 of "General" and 2 hours "Hurricane"). Scroll down this page to view the DBPR course approval letter. You can retake this course even if you have taken it for renewal in the past.
