Florida DBPR requires licensed home inspectors to renew their license every two years before July 31st. The most recent deadline was July 31st, 2018. The next deadline will be July 31st, 2020. To renew your license, complete our free, online Continuing Education courses below.
According to the DBPR Rule as of October 22, 2013, Florida-licensed home inspectors are required to complete at least fourteen (14) hours of Continuing Education credits prior to their expiration of their license. Twelve (12) hours must be based on the components of a home ("General"), and two (2) hours must be based on hurricane wind mitigation ("Hurricane").
