RESNET Enters into Strategic Alliance Agreement with InterNACHI

BOULDER, Colo. (May 24, 2012)—RESNET, the Residential Energy Services Network, has just awarded accreditation to InterNACHI as a national Home Energy Survey Provider. 
 
InterNACHI and RESNET have also joined in a Strategic Alliance Agreement and an action plan to work with the U.S. Department of Energy to train and certify InterNACHI members as Home Energy Survey Professionals (HESPs).

Home Energy Surveys are designed to assess the general condition of the home with respect to energy performance in order to produce a home energy report, which the homeowner can then use to make necessary energy upgrades. InterNACHI is providing its members the Home Energy Inspection Tool, which can be viewed online at https://www.nachi.org/home-energy-inspection.htm.
 
Exclusive Deal for InterNACHI Members
 
RESNET is offering an exclusive 20% discount to InterNACHI-Certified Professional Inspectors® on the fee for the Home Energy Survey Examination (administered by RESNET), which is a requirement of training and certification.
 
As a Home Energy Survey Provider, InterNACHI has the responsibility of administering home energy survey programs and ensuring their quality by:
  • certifying Home Energy Survey Professionals (HESPs);
  • providing quality assurance of Home Energy Surveys; and
  • marketing Home Energy Survey services.
