Defect: Overheating

Miswired Receptacle 2

Defect: Neutral/Hot Reverse

Miswired Receptacle 3

Defect: No Grounding Equipment Conductor

Miswired Receptacle 4

Defect: Ground/Neutral Reverse

Miswired Receptacle 5

Defect: Hot/Neutral Reverse

Miswired Receptacle 6

Defect: Open (Missing) Neutral

Miswired Receptacle 7

Defect: Bridge Broken Between Neutral Screws

Miswired Receptacle 8

Defect: Open Ground

Miswired Receptacle 9

Defect: Bridge Broken Between Hot Screws

Miswired Receptacle 10

Defect: Neutral Connected to Ground Screw

Miswired Receptacle 11

Defect: Missing Hot Conductor

Miswired Receptacle 12

Defect: Ground/Hot Reverse.

This outlet is not energized because this condition would result in tripping of the overcurrent protective device (OCPD) protecting this circuit.
