Insurance for Inspectors

To be a licensed home inspector in New Hampshire, individuals must meet certain requirements for adequate insurance coverage. InterNACHI members are eligible for discounts and enhanced coverage. Visit nachi.org/insurancefor information on how to sign up.
 
 



 

Inspector Continuing Education (online and free for members):

Each licensee shall obtain at least 20 continuing education hours of approved continuing education courses during the biennial renewal period as a condition of license renewal. All of InterNACHI's courses meet the State of New Hampshire's administrative rules for continuing education.
 
 
 

 
 


 

How to Join InterNACHI




Radon Tester Certification in New Hampshire (online & free for members):

 
 
The New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services (NHDES) requires certification of Airborne Radon Mitigation Installers through either the AARST-NRPP or NRSB. Visit the New Hampshire website for details
 
NRPP:
InterNACHI's free, online "Radon Measurement Professional Initial Training Course" is AARST-NRPP approved for both initial certification and Continuing Education. To complete all components of the NRPP Radon Certification, please visit their site for more information.  
 
NRSB:
For those looking for NRSB continuing education, members should take the free, online "Advanced Radon Measurement Service Provider" course.


 
 

Free Real Estate Cards (free for members):

New Hampshire-licensed real estate agents can attain free Continuing Education credits by following the directions on the real estate cards. Members can hand out these cards to real estate agents, which explain how to log into the free courses.
 
When an agent logs into a course and enters the member's ID number, the member is automatically emailed. The first slide of the course is the member's contact information. Free, online CE for real estate agents
 


 
 
 

Home Energy Inspector Certification

 
Become a Certified Home Energy Inspector. The online training and certification is free for members. No infrared, no blower door, and no additional training needed.
 
 



New Hampshire Residential Mold Certification:

New Hampshire requires a certification for Mold Assessments, effective January 1, 2016. Read the details of this requirement here: NH State Mold Assessment Requirements.
 
 



 

Wood Destroying Organisms (online and free for members):


 
The New Hampshire Department of Agriculture, Markets and Food does not currently regulate structural pest inspection. However, InterNACHI members can become certified by taking the Wood Destroying Organisms Inspection Course.

Visit Certified Commercial Property Inspectors Association (CCPIA) for additional commercial inspection training and resources.
