AZBTR
The Arizona State Board of Technical Registration (AZBTR) requires applicants for home inspector certification to (a) complete 87 hours of training, (b) pass a national home inspector exam, and (c) complete 30 parallel inspections with a certified home inspector. Radon Tester Certification in Arizona (online & free)
The Arizona Radiation Regulatory Agency (ARRA) does not regulate or certify radon testers or mitigation specialists; however, they do recommend hiring a Certified Radon Tester who has completed a radon measurement training certification course approved by AARST-NRPP, NRSB, or WRRTC. AZ Home Inspector application packet states that training programs must be offered at facilities licensed by the AZ State Board for Private Postsecondary Education or have an accreditation recognized by the United States Department of Education or by the Distance Education Accrediting Commission (DEAC)).
