Home Inspector Licensing (online & free for members)

Vermont Secretary of State Property Inspectors Department has approved InterNACH's pre-licensing course (online & free for members). The VT-approved course is actually the set of courses below:

Insurance for Inspectors 

Although Vermont doesn’t have requirements regarding insurance for home inspectors, many local real estate boards and home inspector business franchises require their affiliate members to meet certain coverage standards. Continuing Education (online & free)

InterNACHI-Certified Home Inspectors are required to complete twenty-four (24) hours of Continuing Education every year to renew their certification. Review InterNACHI's Continuing Education Policy.

Radon Tester Certification in Vermont (online & free)  

      
Although there are no state regulations for radon testing in Vermont, the Vermont Department of Health recommends to the public hiring certified radon professionals (as of Nov 2014). Visit the Vermont website for details.
 
 NRPP:
InterNACHI's free, online "Advanced Radon Measurement Service Provide Course" is AARST-NRPP approved for both initial certification and Continuing Education. To complete all components of the NRPP Radon Certification, please visit their site for more information.

The Roof Data Technician Program, developed by InterNACHI and Owens Corning and Lowe's, provides an additional revenue stream for InterNACHI members who are hired by Owens Corning as part of a roof warranty claim resolution process.
